  12. a) In M.Tech.
    (i)Main ProjectNonlinear Control of Aircraft Dynamics using flatness.
    DescriptionI have designed a nonlinear controller for F-4 aircraft based on ² flatness²concept and simulated it using MATLAB programming with non dimentional aerodynamic wind tunnel data.
    (ii)Mini ProjectModelling of aircraft dynamics using Artificial Neural Networks.
    DescriptionI have represented the longitudinal dynamics of aircraft by a multilayer perceptron network using the data generated by ten transfer functions for a particular flight condition.
    (iii)SeminarPresented a seminar on the topic ² Nonlinear modelling of aircraft dynamics in longitudinal mode ².
    b) In B.Sc. Engg.
    (i)Main projectDesign of a Personal Computer Based Speed Controller for MASTER-SLAVE induction motors.
    DescriptionI have designed and tested an interfacing card to interface a single phase induction motor with PC. The programming was done in assembly language programming of INTEL-8086 mixed with C–language.
    c) In Diploma Engg.Studied Power Generation in India.

    I did MATLAB programming for miniproject and main project. ANN, LMI, and QFT toolboxes were used during the course of M. Tech. and simulation was done for closed loop dynamics of aircraft incorporating the controller designed, based on flatness concept.
    b.Working knowledge of C and FORTRAN-77
    c.Assembly Language Programming for INTEL-8085 micro-processor was done as laboratory course work.
    d.Worked with UNIX, Windows95/98/NT4.0 and Windows 2000

  16. The following were designed in the final year of B. Sc. Engg. in a team of four students.
    a.Transformer
    500 KVA, 66/11KV, 3-Phase, Core type, Star/Delta, Oil natural cooled,± 10 % tapping.
    b.Induction Motor
    14 H.P., 440 V, 50 Hz, 3- Phase, Delta connected, 1000 rpm, Slip-ring type.
    c.Transmission Line
    3-Phase, 270 Km long, 300 MW power at 0.85 p.f.lagg.
  17. Extra Curricular Activities

I was Senior Hall, V.M. Hall for the session 1997-98 in Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. I was responsible for bridging relations among students and university administration as well as headed students administration committee in V.M.Hall

I served V.M.Hall as Reading Room Secretary for the session 1996-97. I was responsible for the management of Hall Library.

I was responsible for management of V.M.Hall mosque for the session 1994-95.

 

10. Awards and Scholarships

  1. German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) scholarship for doing M.Tech. project in one of the German universities. I was among the ten students selected from I.I.T. Bombay, India.
  2. European Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) project studentship (for 3 years) in July 2000 for doing PhD in university of Leicester.
  3. University Gold Medal for standing first in B.Sc. Engg. Exam. in 1998.
